“This is where you should pre order ipad 3,” my best friend told me, his hands flying over the computer keyboard as he typed in the name of the site he was referring to on the browser’s address bar. I walked up to him and looked over his shoulder at the site offering the famous and highly anticipated gadget.
“Is that where you pre ordered iPad 2?” I asked him.
“Yes,” he nodded empathically. “I highly recommend it. It’s convenient, easy and you can be sure to be one among the first to get the gadget. And remember… I’m speaking from experience,” he said, waving his iPad 2 at me.
I remembered how much bragging we had to endure from him after he got his iPad 2 before any of us got ours. It was annoying mostly because we got ours only after we stood in line for hours while he was just sitting comfortably at home doing nothing.
Thus, I found myself telling him, “Pre order for me to, will you?”
